Blogmas Day 10 ¦ Makeup collection - The run down - Base

I thought it was about time I showed you my makeup collection again. I absolutely love reading these posts and videos so I figured I would update mine. I have decided to split it into categories so I can talk a little bit about the products and the way I store things and so that the post isn't ridiculously long. So without further ado I hope you enjoy these posts and lets get on with it.

I figured it seemed sensible to go in the order things go on my face so I'm going to be starting out with base. All of my base products are stored in the top two drawers of my Alex Drawers from Ikea and all the plastic draw dividers are from Muji and they fit really nicely into the Alex drawers. In the first container I have all of my primers and my lighter bases. Primer wise I really don't have many as I very rarely remember to apply it however if I do reach for it I tend to go for the Nivea express hydration primer. My favourite out of my lighter bases has to be the Bare minerals Complexion rescue it is just perfect for people with dry skin as it is incredibly hydrating whilst still offer a nice light to medium coverage.

Foundation wise it is so hard to pick my top three however I think I'd have to say the Urban decay Naked skin which is my Holy grail foundation, Bourjois Healthy mix serum which is the best drugstore foundation for dry skins and the Rimmel Match perfection foundation which is just an incredible shade for super Casper the ghost pale girls like me. I do also really like the Nars sheer glow however I do find that this can sometimes slightly cake on me if my skin isn't prepped properly.

I seem to have gone a bit mad with Concealer buying this year and I have tried out so many different one however I still have my two trusty old favourites. The first being the Clarins Instant concealer which is just the most beautiful very natural concealer and the Urban Decay Naked concealer which is just the best under eye concealer I have tried. I also have a couple of concealers which I was a little bit disappointed with in here. I found the LA girl concealers just didn't live up to the hype they got and I also recently picked up the Amazing cosmetics Amazing concealer and I have to say so far I am really on the fence about it.

Finally for my base products I have my setting sprays and my shadow primers both of which my favourites are from Urban decay and I also have my powders. My favourite powder is actually the Hydro define powder from MUA which is a tiny £3 so I would definitely recommend it. It isn't something I reach for a lot however when I do I always really love the way it looks on my skin.

So that's it for today's makeup collection instalment! Don't forget to keep your eye out for the next post!
