Christmas OOTD.

I haven't done an OOTD in forever so cue some very awkward posing and unflattering shots, but these were the best I could get. This is the outfit I wore for thursday, I love the way a pair of heels smarten up a pair of jeans and I wear these nude ones a lot.

Jeans - River Island
Top - River Island
Jacket - New Look
Shoes - I'm not 100% sure perhaps New Look

What I got for Christmas 2014.

So after months of preparation and present buying the big day is over. Today I thought I would do my what I got for christmas post. This isn't everything it is just the bits and bobs I thought you guys would like to see. Just a little disclaimer I'm not bragging in any way shape or form and if you don't like posts like this just cross it off!

I love little bits like this and this gorgeous little dream catcher will look amazing in my room. I'm not sure where it's from but you can get some gorgeous ones of the internet.

I had to have another bottle of this as it is my all time favourite scent. I've not quite finished my current bottle yet but this will be opened as soon as I do.

I've heard so much about the aromatherapy associates oils so when my nana said pick something little to fill up my present I decided on this as I've heard so many things about them I'm super excited to use this and I'm going to use it in my bath tonight!

I've been wanting a Mac palette forever and I'm very excited to use this some more. I picked out the shades Patina, All that glitters, Satin taupe and Woodwinked.

For my christmas day outfit I had a pair of river island Lana jeans (Which are my all time favourites) and a little striped crop top.

Pj's are the best and these Pete Panda ones are from primark. I love the trousers as they are like thinner jogging pants. I also like the fact I now have socks that match my pajamas.

I haven't had an MUA palette for ages and I really liked the one I had before but the entire palette broke and one of the shadows smashed so I had to get rid of it, so when I found this under the tree I was a happy girlie.

This has to be one of my favourite presents. I've used everything in here and I love everything I think my favourite has to be Deep throat blush. Expect a review very soon!

The final gift I'm going to show you today is this massive soap and glory gift set which is just so amazing. I'm so excited to try all the bits in here especially the whipped clean shower butter as it's something I don't think i've ever heard anyone talk about and it smells amazing!

A Little Change

So firstly apologies for failing epically at my own blogmas challenge. I have mock exams as soon as I get back in january and I didn't take into account how much time that revision would take up. Despite failing to get to the end, blogmas has made me realise that I am beginning to churn out content just to fill slots. So I have decided to cut down to three posts a week rather than four. I'm hoping in the new year that my posts are going to be written better, more informative and they are overall going to be nicer to read. I'm now going to drop Monday's post and post on a Wednesday, Friday and Sunday at 12 pm. As for my This week posts if I have a busy week I will put one up but I'm not going to force content out of revision and binge watching sky go!

I hope you all had a brilliant Christmas!

#BigBlogmasproject2014 - Costa Black Forest hot chocolate

(Sorry about the stock image I had one specially on Saturday and I forgot to photograph it!)

I would go as far to say that this is one of my favourite drinks ever. Costa'so hot chocolate is smooth and creamy and not to sweet and the added shot of blackberry syrup gives it a little bite. Despite the added syrup the balance of sweetness is still right and the little drizzle of cherry sauce and sprinkle of dark chocolate curls work really nicely along with it! Overall I really love this drink and I really recommend it to anyone who has a sweet tooth but not to anyone on a diet as a large one of these has around 700 calories in it!

#BigBlogmasproject2014 - New releases from Bella and bear

If you've been reading my blog for a while you will know that I love Bella and Bear. They are a brand that are really quickly expanding their product range. The two newest launches are The pluckers tweezer set* and the brush on you detangling brush and comb set*. They've also got some very exciting new launches on the way which I will hopefully be able to share with you in the next couple of weeks!

The Pluckers four piece tweezer set includes a set of slanted tweezers, a set of very fine point tweezers, a set a flat tweezers and a floral case. This set has you covered from everything to eyebrows to splinters. The fine point tweezers are really fine and are absolutely brilliant for removing splinters as they are very very precise, i've been using the slanted tweezers for my brows as for the flat topped ones I haven't yet found a specific use but they are a handy thing to have. I love the case not only because it's gorgeous but because it makes traveling so much easier and I can also throw it in my bag if I'm on the go.

I never really expect much from detangling brushes as my hair is more like a lions mane than human hair, it's very knotty and very thick. However this one really did impress me the bristles weren't as flimsy and seemed to really get through the knots rather than just pulling them. I do find however that it works much better on dry hair than on hair that is wet.  The comb is just a super handy thing to have and I've been using it for combing conditioner through my hair in the shower. There's not really much else to say about it in all honesty at the end of the day it's simply a wide toothed comb.

You can buy Bella and bear products /Here/ and on amazon.co.uk.

This product has been sent to me for a review but all opinions are my own, to read my full disclosure policy click /Here/

#BigBlogmasproject2014 - The christmas tree tour

For today's christmassy post I decided to share a little christmas tree tour with you. My dad is super particular about how the tree looks so we always stick with a colour scheme that matches our lounge. There are a couple of little baubles from special occasions. For example we have the little bear which my brother got on his first christmas and a little bauble from my first christmas.

#Bigblogmasproject2014 - Winter nails with Elegant touch

Today's post is only a short one but I hope you enjoy it anyway.
For today's post I thought I would show you my christmas day/ wintery day nails. I love elegant touch nails as they are really high quality and last really well. I love the patterns on these as they are festive but they can be worn anytime in the winter. I think the little snowmen have to my favourite! I really wanted the christmas jumper ones but they only had neon orange ones! Expect to see a picture of me wearing these on my social media!

#BigBlogmasproject2014 - The DIY post

When I was coming up with the topic ideas for this project I didn't think about the fact that I had absolutely no idea what to do for the DIY post so at the last minute (Nice on Cole) I decided that I would show you all how to make these cute little decorations.

You will need...

6 squares of paper
Glue
Tape
Scissors
String/ribbon/tiny tinsel to hang the decorations
Pens/glitter/paint to decorate

All you need to do is to get your square of paper and fold it in half then draw a line down the centre. Cut 5 lines on each side of the line making sure the cuts don't quite connect with the cuts on the opposite side the picture below shows you if you're a little confused.

Once you have your cut unfold the square you will have a square full of almost squares. Take the two corners and stick them together with some glue, them flip it over and do the same with the next square. Again the picture below shows you better than I can explain.

You should end up with one of these you can then make multiple and attach them all together with some tape. These are fab to make with little ones as they are so easy and they can be decorated in any way you want!

#BigBlogmasproject2014 - Winter essentials

Firstly I'm going to apologize 1) for this post being late and 2) for the horrible quality of the photos. These were actually taken this morning as it's just far too dark by the time I get home from school. I have been taking the photos at weekend but for some reason I forgot to do them for this post. Anyways that aside today I'm going to be showing you some of my winter essentials.

The first thing is some dark lipstick the ones in the photo's are Rebel and Brick o la from mac but because I took these photo's in a rush I didn't remember to open them so if you'd like to know what the colours are like you will have to google them. Next is glitter, I love the Barry M glitters they have such a large range but I really like the fact these ones are in a base of black. Gold mine glitter looks amazing when all the other nails are black. Black multi glitter looks amazing with black nails but it also looks amazing with silver, a dark purple or blue. I've also put in the Collection glam crystals eye liner in rock chick which is a black liner with silver glitter. This one looks amazing over a plain black eyeliner to add a little bit of sparkle to the eye.

Skincare wise I have the body shop camomile cleansing balm which is really gentle on the skin and feels nice and hydrating without leaving a film on the skin. It also feels really nice and soothing on wind battered skin. I use the Blistex intensive moisturizer all the time but it really gets hammered in the winter. It's the most amazing lip balm for healing really chapped and sore lips.

My other winter essentials are Frozen (or any christmas film) I love to snuggle up with some cosy Pj's and watch a film in my bed with my fairy light on. I also like to have a candle on and my favourite scent at the moment is Yankee snowflake cookie which is a very sweet scent and it actually smells like cookies!
