The Budget chubby sticks from Miss sporty.

Miss sporty have recently released a range of chubby lip pencils and I am really enjoying them. The Instant lip colour and shine* pencils retail for the barginous price of £2.99. //Here// These are definitely on the more glossy side of the chubby stick scale, yet they are still incredibly pigmented and leave a slight stain on the lips once the gloss has worn away. I can get about 4 hours wear out of one of these before I feel the need to top up the colour. Even when they do fade they don't settle around the outside of the lips. Overall I'm super impressed with these for the price and if your looking for a non sticky but pigmented lip product then you need to get your hands on these.

The Handbag Essentials.

I saw this post on somebody's blog about a week and a half ago and I loved the idea so thank you if it was you and if you let me know I will happily add your link!

So beneath the soft mint wrappers, broken nail files and crumpled receipts I dug out my handbag essentials.

My purse

Obviously this is an essential, I really have nothing to say about it.

My Boots and Superdrug advantage cards

Clearly the most important thing in my bag, points make pounds and that makes me a very happy gal.

A Nail file

My nails have a habit of breaking at the most inappropriate times and I end up with the scary jagged claw look so this on is a must have.

A Hand cream

At the moment I have the soap and glory hand food which is a new ish addition. Dry hands are just not pretty and I get awful eczema on my knuckles so I have to have something in my bag at all times.

A Hand Sanitizer

There is nothing worse than public toilets and I like to wash my hands before I eat so when there isn't a sink hanging around I like to keep a hand sanitizer on me. I like the body shop ones as they don't reek of alcohol.

A deodorant

Again there is not much to say about this but with the weather like it is in the uk at the moment I wouldn't dream of leaving the house with some sort of deodorant because lets face it there is nothing worse than smelling of sweat.

The Sunday Makeup Edit.

I love a bit of glow and on a Sunday I like to wear a nice light base with minimal eye and lip makeup so today I thought I'd show you my Sunday makeup.

To start off I like to use an illuminating primer, the only one in my stash at the moment is the Along came Betty Prime of your life. This one is really lovely, it adds a really nice glow to the face without making you look like a disco ball. For my Base I've been using the Gosh CC cream* which I'm actually really impressed with. This is really really dewy so I have been setting it with the L'oreal Nude magique BB powder, I really like this as it sets the CC cream without making my face look flat. I then pop a little of the L'oreal Lumi Magique Pen under my eyes and down my nose for a little highlight.

To stick with the fresh and glowy look I used Benefit Sugarbomb on the apples of my cheeks. I really love this blush but I'm not sure if I would buy it again as it's not the most pigmented colour in the world. Then for bronzer I popped on the L'oreal Glam bronze bronzer in golden bronze (How many times can they fit the word bronze into one name) I love this as it isn't overly orange and looks super natural.

For my eyebrows I used my trusty urban decay naked basics palette. I then added a little of the Maybelline colour tattoo in pink gold on my lids and then lashings of the Miss Sporty Fabulous lash xtra black* which is actually quite impressive for the price. For my lips I just put a little of the Korres lip butter in Jasmine on.

That's it, let me know in the comments what your Sunday makeup staples are!

Summer lip lovin'.

The Glossy Option - Bourjois Colour boost in Peach on the beach £7.99 //Here//

This is so lovely, I really can't believe it took me so long to try these. They are lovely and hydrating on the lips and stay put for how glossy they are. This colour is my favourite as it is the perfect mix of peach and pink but it's still really bright.

The Matte Option - Revlon Colourburst Matte balm in Unapologetic £7.99 //Here//

You are probably all so sick of hearing about these but they are just so brilliant. This is my favourite one as again it is a lovely mix of pink and just a little orange. I find the colour so flattering and the finish is amazing as they aren't drying at all.

The Really Bright Option - Look Beauty Lipstick in Rock candy £7.00 //Here//

This may be the brightest lipstick I own. These lipstick get no press on blogs but I really love them. They are a really lovely formula and the pigment is amazing. They are really well worth a try.

The Nude-y Pink Option - Mac Creme Cup £15.00 //Here//

This is my perfect Nude-y pink lipstick. I love the formula of these lipsticks (if you didn't know it's a cremesheen). This is a very hyped lipstick so I'm not going to go on about it but if you haven't tried it I highly recommend it.

The Beauty police - Beauty sins #1

There's some things that all beauty bloggers don't admit, it could be the use of the face wipe or the fact that you don't wash your brushes as often as you should. I decided I would count down the top 5 Beauty sins in my eyes. I really hope you enjoy this post. Before you read on I just wan't to let you all know this is a little light hearted post so please don't feel offended by it.

5. Not using Heat protection spray.

We all know we should do it, not many of us actually do it. I must admit I always buy it with the best of intentions but never really use it!

4. Hoarding Makeup for far to long.

That Mascara that has been open six months but you can't quite bare to throw out, or the first lipstick we bought at age 12 that has to much sentimental value. We are all guilty of it!

3. Overuse of bronzer.

How does it happen you go from bronzed goddess to oumpa lumpa in 1 brush stroke. One minuite you have cheekbones and the next you look like you've fallen in a muddy puddle.

2. The cleaning of brushes.

Hand's up if you've told someone that brushes need to be washed at least once a week yet your own brushes can go for a good 3 weeks before you remember to clean them. Or you've put of washing them because you need them for the next day when in fact you have 12 different brushes you could use.

1. The face wipe.

This one is probably one of the most talked about sins in the whole beauty blogging community. There ok every now and then but we all know how bad they are for your skin. Yet sometimes we reach for them anyway. But we make up for it with a Triple cleanse the next night!

I really hope you enjoyed this post, let me know your biggest beauty sins in the comments.

xoxo

High st VS High end - Mascara

These Pictures have been sitting on my computer since about march when this post seemed to be popping up everywhere.

Under £5 - Collection Super Size fat lash mascara. £2.99 //Here//

For how cheap this mascara is it is actually really nice. It adds nice amounts of length and volume without leaving my lashes clumpy as some cheaper mascara's can do. The only thing I'm not a fan of is the fact that it isn't waterproof so it sometimes smudges under my eyes.

Under £10 - Rimmel Scandal eyes lycra flex mascara. £6.99 //Here//

This is definitely my least favourite of the bunch, I find it gets sooo clumpy and I end up with 3 lashes, someone on twitter told me to leave it to dry out but I found it really didn't help. Let me know if you like this mascara or else I think it may have to go in the bin.

Under £15 - Maxfactor False lash effect waterproof. £10.99 //Here//

This is my favourite drugstore mascara by far. The brush is like nothing I have seen before and when I opened it up I didn't think I was going to like it. This mascara leaves the lashes really fluttery, almost like a your lashes but better mascara. The one I have is actually in the shade black brown as it came in a gift box but for me personally it is no problem.

Under £20 - Benefit They're real mascara £19.50 //Here//

This is my favourite mascara of all time. It does everything I want a mascara to do and more. It leaves my lashes long, separated and voluminous without any clumps. I love the shape of the brush and I find the bits on the end are perfect for the inner corner lashes and the bottom lashes.

The Body Shop Camomile Cleansing Butter

In the past few months I've really been enjoying using skincare and this has been one of the products I have really loved. Before I started Blogging I used to remove my makeup with a wipe, which is now pretty much considered a sin.

This is one of the loveliest products I have ever used. It melts away any makeup including waterproof mascara and leaves the skin feeling smooth and fresh. One of my favourite things about this product is the scent, it is quite subtle but if you are super sensitive to scents then this is probably one to avoid. This product feels very moisturizing on the face and I don’t feel like it strips my skin as some cleansers do. Another thing I really like about this product is that it doesn't leave an oily film on my face. If you do remove your makeup with a cleansing butter I really recommend this one.

An updated Everyday Makeup

It feels like such a long time since I wrote one of these posts so I decided that today I would show you what I've been wearing on my face lately. I've not been wearing eyeshadow lately mainly because my eyeshadow primer has run out and it's not a complete essential so I refuse to break my spending ban to buy a new tube! So I really hope you enjoy this post, i'd also love it if you could let me know what you think of my photos as I'm trying to improve my photography skills.

Starting of with my base I am back to using my Benefit Porefessional as I just can't find a primer that is better than it, much to my purse's disappointment. My foundation of choice recently has been the Bourjois Healthy mix serum, but if you are a regular in these parts you will know as I haven't shut up about it. If your not a regular then I reviewed it //Here// and featured it //Here// and //Here//. I've recently been loving the L'oreal Lumi magique concealer to conceal my under eyes and the Seventeen Stay time concealer on any redness or blemishes.

My blush, contour and highlighter have all been sleek recently. I have fallen back in love with my contour palette in light as now I've got a little bit of a natural tan it looks so much more natural. I've also been loving the highlighter as it's the prettiest peachy champagne colour. Finally for my base I've been using the Sleek Blush by 3 palette in Pink lemonade, I've especially been loving the bright pink cream blush as it's such a gorgeous formula (It's the one in the middle if you are wondering)

I have gone back to an old favourite for my brows, and i'm so happy with it if you ask me the Urban decay Naked basics is just such an amazing brow palette. I've been mixing the shades Naked 2 and Faint to create a lighter brow recently (Side note my brows are in no way light but this is a hell of a lot lighter than I used to have them) The only other thing I've been doing with my eyes is adding tons and tons of the Maxfactor False lash effect mascara. I really am liking this and it's almost on par with Benefit They're real which is my all time favourite mascara.

The final thing I've been putting on my face recently has been Mac's amplified lipstick in Up the amp. I'm usually not that loyal to a lipstick but recently every time I have reached for a bright lip it has been this one. I just adore the colour and if your a bright lip lover I'd highly recommend you check it out.

Bourjois Healthy mix serum - Reviewed!

I wasn't sure how I was going to get along with this one, my foundation purchases are usually fully researched and planned. This had £3.00 off when I went into boots a couple of weeks ago so I decided to bite the bullet and just try it. I'm actually really glad I did, I'm usually a full coverage girl but I am actually loving a lighter coverage base at the moment and this definitely ticks all the boxes. My skin is no way near as oily as it used to be but this stops any oil sneaking onto my face. It has the most beautiful dewy finish and leaves my face with a glow. It also lasts for about 8 Hours which is very impressive on my skin. I'm so happy with this foundation and I urge you to go out and try it. The only problem I have is the shades are very yellow and my skin is very pink so I have to blend it in really well.

Have you tried this foundation?

The gosh festival kit.

This post is possibly a little over due but I had to show you anyway. I was sent these products from gosh after winning a giveaway and I am so impressed with them!

A good base is an essential for any look and I have been really impressed by the Gosh CC cream*. I've tried a couple of CC creams and I think this one has to be my favourites. The coverage is quite nice but personally I need a little more coverage under my eyes and around my nose. Next up is eyes the Gosh forever eyeshadow pencil in Grey.* You can pop a little on the lid and blend out for a really subtle look but you can put loads all around the eyes and you get a really smokey effect. In the pictures below I have used just a little and sheered it out with a fluffy blending brush. I'm really impressed with the way it looks and the quality. It also lasts for about 8 hours which I was really impressed with.

The Gosh length n' build mascara in Black* is a really lovely choice. It gives a nice natural look whilst keeping the lashes nice and curled. I'm pleasantly surprised by this it really is waterproof. I have a lot of trouble with mascara on my bottom lashes running and ending up a mess but this one has well and truly passed the test. Finally for eyes I have the Gosh velvet touch gel eyeliner in Black ink.* I'm actually not a big fan of eyeliner in the waterline as like mascara it just ends up all down my face. This one didn't smudge as much be much as most do. The only thing I wasn't to sure about with this one was the pigmentation lacked a little. I've had eyeliners a lot more pigmented than this one. That being said it's not a bad product.

For lips I have the Gosh velvet touch lipstick in the shade Your's forever.* This is just the most gorgeous vibrant pink shade. The pictures really aren't doing it justice. This is definitely one of my favourite lipsticks for summer. The formula is really lovely and it glides onto the lips. It's also nicely moisturizing. The final product I got was the Gosh nail lacquer in Sea me!*, this is just the prettiest colour for summer. It is a medium blue which is packed full of shimmer. It reminds me of a darker version of Sinful colours Cinderella. Unfortunately I haven't got a swatch of it as my nails are in awful condition at the moment so I didn't want to photograph them!

Even thought these products were gifted to me by the brand these are all my opinions.

You can buy gosh products from the Superdrug website //Here//
