The orange lip edit.

From left to right Barry M 151, Sleek Papaya punch, Bourjois Orange punch, Rimmel 110, Mua Justify.

Barry M Lip paint -151 £4.49 //Here//

This is probably my favourite out of the five. It's super bright but really moisturizing this is a little more coral but I really like it.

Sleek Matte lipstick - Papaya punch £4.99 //Here//

This is the brightest of the bunch and I really love the colour although I have to put quite a lot of lip balm under it as I personally find the formula a little drying.

Bourjois Colour boost lip crayon - Orange punch £7.99 //Here//

This is the most gorgeous mix of gloss and pigment and I really love it. I also find the formula to be really nourishing.

Rimmel Lasting finish Kate Moss lipstick - 110 £5.49 //Here//

I love 107 so when I saw this one I had to give it a go, it's a very coral-y orange and I really love it. I also find it to be super moisturizing despite it being a matte shade.

Mua Power pout - Justify £3.00 //Here//

This is definitely the one to go for if your shy of colour. This leaves the perfect sheer coating of orange and it smells minty!

So that's it what colour lipsticks have you been loving lately?

This week... #3

This week was spent eating far to much chocolate than is good for you, eating ice cream and wetherspoons (Which I didn't manage to get a picture of as it looked far to delicious to stop and take a photo. We also spent the Easter weekend wandering the beach at Morcambe bay and pausing for a few selfies with Eric Morcambe's statue.

Another little haul - OOOPS!

Sleek Show stoppers Palette £7.99

From a quick google I have read that this was originally released this time last year and was an online exclusive but I'm guessing that it has been bought back for the superdrug 50th anniversary. This is a palette containing favourite shades from palettes past and present. I can't wait to review it for you guys!

Garnier ultimate blends Shampoo and Conditioner £1.94 each (Half price)
I've read so much about these recently so when I saw they were on half price I thought I'd give them a go. So far so good but I will be reviewing them when I have tried them properly.

Schwarzkopf Got2b Guardian angel heat protector and Beach matte sea salt spray. £1.98 each (Half price)

I have heard good things about both of these products, I like the heat protectant so far. The slat spray is nice but I have to put the tiny-est little bit in or else it makes my hair a little crispy.

So that's it guys I know this haul is super tiny but I thought I'd pop it up anyway!

Traveling light - well sort of.

I'm super impressed with myself, I always take far to many options for my makeup when I go anywhere so this for me is pretty god. I've popped my makeup bag next to a bottle of hand sanitizer to show you just how small it is!

Blistex intensive moisturizer, Avene cleansing water, Avene soapless cleanser, Avene cleanance K, Superdrug vitamin e eye cream, Dead sea minerals moisturizing olive oil cream (in a little sample pot from lush)

Vintage cosmetics company eyelash curlers.

L'oreal true match foundation - The current foundation, I'm really liking it as it's not to matte or to dewy.
Rimmel kate moss lipstick in 110 - I love the Rimmel Kate Moss lipsticks and this one is such an amazing colour.
Collection fast stroke eyeliner - A staple in my routine if i'm wearing winged liner it's usually this.
Maybelline fit me concealer - Another staple, light and moisturizing with a decent amount of coverage what more would you want.
Mac Up the amp - One of the brightest and more out there shades in my collection and I love it.
L'oreal BB powder - This is so finely milled and sets makeup perfectly without being detectable.
Topshop cream blush in flush - The perfect spring blush it adds the most beautiful flush (See what I did there)
Urban decay primer potion - The key to eyeshadow lasting all day, I feel as though I should never be without this.
Urban decay naked basics - Brows, eyes and even a highlight in one palette. The perfect traveling palette.
Benefit they're real - My favourite mascara of all time (and trust me I've tried a hell of a lot)
Benefit porefessional - This is nice I'm not sure it's worth the hefty price tag but I do like it.

Impressive? Yes! I'm not going to ramble about these products as they are pretty much my day to day staples, but I also thought I would throw in a couple of bright lips to add a little zing!

What do you take when you are packing light?

I've been trying products out for this post for months, I didn't want to write a post using products that I didn't really like. I have gone a little over budget but nothing to crazy. I haven't included brushes but most of these products can be applied with out tools any way. I haven't put these products on my face for you today as my face is so dry at the moment I'm trying to avoid makeup.

So here's the final products...

Seventeen Stay time concealer - £4.49
Natural collection pink cloud blusher - £1.99

I don't think I did to bad here. I may do an updated one of these in a couple of months.

This week #2

I rekindled my love for the Mcdonalds caramel frappe's, they really are delicious.

Had a meal at ikea and the cake was to die for, I also spent far to much money on jars and little storage bits.

I reached 800 followers which is both amazing and terrifying.

Re-arranged my makeup up stash once again, I think i'm finally happy with it!

Cracked out some of my summer wardrobe and fell in love with these new look espadrilles once again.

English revision ughhhh.

What have you been up to this week?

Avene cleanance range. Reviewed.

Avene Cleanance k £10.50*
Avene Cleanance Toner £10.50*
Avene Cleanance cleansing water (Mini) Full size £16.00*

When the lovely people at Avene contacted me and asked me if I'd like to try some of their products I was very eager. The Cleanance K was something I was thinking about picking up anyway and I really love it, don't get me wrong my skin isn't completely cleared up but it is so much better than it was. I was quite worried that this would break me out but luckily it didn't. I really like this and I'd now like to try the la roche posay effeclar duo so I can compare the two products. The Cleanance toner is really nice, it needs to be shaken before use as it begins to separate in the bottom. I have found this has gone down quite quickly, I haven't seen any huge improvement in my skin when using this but it is really nice. It leaves the skin matte so it is really nice to use in a morning before makeup. The final product I was sent was a mini version of the cleansing water, this wasn't for me. I found it didn't remove my makeup very well and left my skin feeling like it was coated.

Out of all 3 products I think my favourite is the Cleanance K but I also really like the toner.

I hope you enjoyed this post.

Sleek Blush by 3 palette - Pink lemonade

I love sleek and when I saw they were releasing two new blush by three palettes I couldn't wait. My intention was to pick up Californ.I.A. but everyone in boots had been opened and someone had stuck their finger in it.So I decided not to let it defeat me and I picked up the other new palette (Not without checking it first)! I'm so glad I did decide to pick this up as it is so lovely. The shades are beautifully pigmented (including the cream) and blend out so nicely. My favourite shade has to be the middle shade, Macaroon: which is a very bright barbie pink colour but when blended turns into the most beautiful bubblegum pink. It isn't quite a cream to powder formula but doesn't stay sticky or tacky which is what I dislike about cream blushes that aren't cream to powder. The other two shades give the most beautiful summery glow, but they don't make you look like a disco ball. Icing sugar is a soft baby pink with lots of finely milled shimmer which gives you the most gorgeous healthy glow. The final shade pink mint is a very light pinky terracotta with a gold'y sheen. I can't say I have ever seen a colour similar to this but I can tell you I love it!

Have you tried either of the new sleek palettes?

This week... #1

I had my braces tightened and oh my they are so uncomfortable. I now have elastic bands as well so they are a bit difficult but I'm just about used to them.

I fell in love with frozen, I can't quite believe it has taken me this long to watch it. It's such a fabulous film!

I had my hair cut, I wanted a change so I decided to go for a fringe and I really like it.

I baked an apple and sultana upside down cake and it was delicious, the recipe will be up soon.

I picked up the sleek showstoppers palette and it really is a beauty. I am in love with the green and peterol blue shades.

Worth the hype? Bourjois colour boost lip crayons.

Top .. Peach on the beach
Bottom .. Orange punch

Orange punch.

Peach on the beach

Why have I not tried these before now. I was never sucked into the hype last spring but when I walked past them in boots I just couldn't leave them there. I picked up the two orange-y shades and I love them both. The first one I picked up was Orange punch which is such a pretty glossy coral-y orange, I find that this one is a lot sheerer than Peach on the beach. Peach on the beach is a gorgeous pink-y peach (I'm sure you would have never guessed that one) I find that not only is this one much more opaque than orange punch but it's also not as glossy so in turn it lasts a lot longer than it. I can get about 4 hours out of orange punch and about 6 hours wear from peach on the beach. Overall I'm really impressed with these and I may end up picking up a few more!

Have you tried these?
