The easiest and glammest lashes

Oh these lashes are so incredibly beautiful, I'm not a frequent lash wearer and whenever they do wear them they always feel a bit odd. However after trying the Kiss Lash Couture faux mink lashes I don't think i'm ever going to want to try another lash brand. These look so beautiful and blend with the natural lashes really nicely due to the fact they are so fine and natural. Obviously the two styles I've been trying out aren't the most daytime appropriate however for events these are perfect.

I find lashes hard to apply usually as it isn't something I do often however these were an absolute breeze and I got them on first time. Due to how dramatic they are the band is a little thicker however I'm not sure I would ever wear a lash as dramatic about this without any liner. Something I do love about the band however is that it is very flexible meaning there is no awkward curling up end which will not stick to the lid.

Kiss Lash couture Faux mink in Gala and Midnight £7.99 each*

My favourite out of the two styles I've tried is Midnight they are a little thick and more winged at the inner corners whereas Gala are more straight. I'm currently on the 4th wear of the Midnight lashes and they are still going strong so I definitely would suggest giving these a go if you are willing to put in a little effort and look after the lashes.

I think if you are on the lookout for some beautiful quite intense lashes then these are definitely ones which you should check out. As usual they are the same good quality as all kiss lashes and are definitely worth the slightly higher price than you would pay for a standard pair of drugstore lashes.

The best concealers for pale skin

Today I thought I would show you some of my favourite concealers for pale skin. I find that a lot of concealers aren't pale enough to highlight so today I thought I would share some of my favourites for my fellow Casper's.

Urban Decay Naked skin concealer - Fair neutral

This is the palest concealer I have ever used. I love this one for highlighting under the eye as it is the most beautiful creamy hydrating concealer. This is incredible for anyone who has dry skin but I've also heard so many amazing things about this from people who have oily skin too.

Rimmel Match perfection concealer - Ivory

This is a beautiful lightweight concealer which works really nicely on both blemishes and under the eyes. It's not the highest coverage however it's a really nice one for everyday use. The only issue I have is that I'm not a fan of the fact that it is a brush applicator.

Urban decay, Rimmel, Bourjois, Clarins, NYX.
Bourjois Radiance reveal concealer - Light

This is the most beautiful light under eye concealer. This is a really lovely pink toned pale shade which is perfect for my skin tone. I can't use this one on blemishes as it is incredibly radiant.

Clarins Instant concealer - Light

I think I have to say that this is my favourite concealer of all time. It feels beautifully lightweight but also offers an incredibly high coverage. This looks incredible both under the eyes and on any blemishes and leave the most lovely dewy finish on the skin.

NYX HD concealer - Porcelain

This is almost as pale as the Urban Decay one. This is a little thicker and can be a little clingy on really dry patches. However if my skin is just a little dry it is completely fine. It also works really nicely as a highlight under the eyes.

The Everyday makeup post

Today I thought I would show you some of the products I have been reaching for in the past couple of months for a super neutral makeup look.

You will probably know if you are a regular reader that I absolutely love the Bare Minerals complexion rescue for everyday. It is a beautiful light really hydrating base which adds just enough coverage and leaves the skin with the most beautiful glowy finish. Then another ultimate favourite is the Clarins instant concealer which is just the best high coverage but light textured concealer. This base combo is exactly what I need for everyday as I want something which packs a punch coverage wise but feels incredibly comfortable and looks really glowy.

For the rest of the face I have been reaching for my Urban Decay beached bronzer to add a little colour as this is just the perfect bronzer in my opinion. Then for blush I have been loving Benefit Galifornia which is a stunning slightly corally pink with a very subtle gold sheen meaning it just makes the skin look beautifully healthy. Then for highlight I've been starting off with a little bit of Benefit Watts as a base and then I have been putting the Urban Decay Afterglow highlight in Sin which is a little bit paler and less golden than Watts up and I just love the combination.

Moving onto the eyes I've been a little obsessed with the Bobbi Brown gel liner in the shade Sepia Ink which is a gorgeous deep brown shade. I just think this is the perfect way to add a little more thickness to the lash line and sometimes I do end up with a little wing if I'm wanting something a little more polished. Then for mascara I've been reaching for the Gosh Rebel eyes mascara which I just absolutely love. It does a perfect job of really lengthening the lashes. Then for my brows I have as per usual been using the Anastasia dip brow which everyone and their dog loves. Then finally to finish off I've been using the Gerard cosmetics Hydra matte liquid lipstick in the shade everything nice which is a beautiful deep nude.

So that's it for today, I'd love to know what you reach for on an everyday basis.

A NYX haul

I feel like it's been a while since I last did a big NYX haul so I thought I would share with you the bits and pieces I have picked up recently.

Starting with base products I picked up the dark circle concealer which is a peachy toned corrector. This is a really nice fair peach shade which doesn't show through my base makeup like so many do. I find that this does a really good job of cancelling out my dark circles leaving me looking nice and awake. Next up for my face I got the Matte bronzer, this was actually a birthday present and I am a really big fan of it. It's a fairly warm toned bronzer which does a beautiful job of warming up the face and even on my pale skin it doesn't lean to orange. The final face bit I picked up was the Dewy setting spray which I have heard so much about this. You don't get any extra lasting power from this however it does a beautiful job of taking down any cakiness or dryness on the skin.

Matte Bronzer, Dark circle concealer.

Moving onto the eyes I picked up two more of the vivid brights liners, the first one is the orange which is called vivid delight and the second one is vivid sapphire which is a cobalt blue. I then decided to pick up four of the hot singles shadows in the pan form. I also picked up the four pan palette to put them in. I love the shadows but I am really not a fan of the palette. I'm going to swap the shadows out into a Z palette I think as I just find it very un-travel friendly.

Shadows in Sin, Gumdrop, Bad seed and Wild Orchid, Liner in Delight and Sapphire.

Finally I picked up some bits for lips. I bought a couple of the Lip lingerie's first off I picked up bedtime flirt which is a beautiful pale pink nude shade and I also picked up exotic which is a terracotta nude. These are so beautiful, I've heard a lot about them drying people's lips out however I find these really comfortable on the lips. I also picked up the lip liner in Natural which is something which so many people talk about. It is a gorgeous light nude which works so beautifully with pretty much all lipsticks. Finally I picked up an Intense butter gloss in the shade Chocolate crepe. I love these intense glosses they are beautifully pigmented whilst still looking beautifully glossy. These are definitely my favourite for a glossy lip. This shade is a beautiful medium brown pink nude shade which is beautiful for everyday.

Chocolate Crepe, Nude, Bedtime flirt, Exotic.

The palette that no one will stop talking about

Move over Naked palettes as I think that there might be a palette which is more popular than you.

Oh damn this palette is everything I have ever dreamed of and more, once again I was behind on the hype however now I have it i'm with everyone else raving about it. So without further ado lets get on with my review. The shadows are incredible, so pigmented and creamy and blend like an absolute dream. Both the matte and the shimmery shades are equaly as stunning.

Tempera - This is the best all over the lid shade, it's a very slightly peachy shade which is just perfect for cancelling out any discolouration on the eyelids.

Golden Ochre - This is a good all over lid shade but also works as a really nice light crease shade. It's a warm orange brown which is one of my favourite shades in the palette it's just a perfect basic shade which is a fab addition to the palette.

Vermeer - A shimmery pink which makes the perfect lid shade for a halo eye. This is just one of those perfect throw on shades and pretty much any colour in the palette works beautifully in the crease of it.

Buon Fresco - This is a gorgeous pinky purple crease shade which also works beautifully as a transition shade for a pink smokey eye.

Antique Bronze - The second shimmery shade in the palette, this is a bronzey pink shade which looks fab as the lid colour for a bronze smokey eye.

Love Letter - This is 100% my favourite shade in the palette. It is an incredible deep matte pink and I'm pretty sure that it is the one I have used most so far.

Cyprus Limber - This is a deep brown with purple undertones. I don't dislike this shade however I do find that it isn't quite as easy to blend as some of the other shadows in the palette.

Raw Sienna - Another brilliant basic shade, this reminds me a lot of Makeup geek crème brule but it is definitely a little darker. This is another one which makes a really good crease shade.

Burnt Orange - This is similar to Raw sienna, it's a little darker and has more orange to it but they are definitely in the same family.

Primavera - This is the other light lid shade in the palette this one is more peached toned but has a similar depth of colour to Vermeer.

Red Ochre - This is the best shade for smoking out any look done with this palette and is always the colour I reach for if I want a liner shade. Unlike most burgundy's it has more of a red tone rather than the typical pinky purple tone.

Venetian Red - This is like Love Letter's deeper sister, it has that same bright pink tone to it however it's almost a little more neutral as it is closer to black.

Warm Taupe - This is the only super grey toned shadow in the palette. I do like the fact they added this one in here as it make the palette more versatile however I personally haven't touched it however I'm sure I will in time.

Realgar - The final shade in the palette is a gorgeous deep red shade. This has a brown tone but it doesn't overtake the red when blended out like so many shades like this are.

So that's it for today's post I hope you enjoyed it!

The Pinky nudes

As we move more into spring I've been reaching for pinky nude shades even more than I normally do. Today I though I would show you some of my favourites. So without further ado lets get on with it.

Stila Stay all day liquid lipstick in Patina £16 -

I am so glad I gave into the hype with this one. Out of all of them it is definitely the most purple toned. It's also quite dark compared to the rest of the shades. This is the one I will go for if I still want a pinky nude but I want something that's a little darker.

Clinique Lip pop in Blush pop £16 -

I love these lip pop lipsticks they are incredibly saturated in pigment but still have a really lovely sheeny finish. This is a pinky nude (as you definitely would guess that when it's in a post with this title) This is a really stunning warm pink shade which on my is a really beautiful my lips but better shade. I just love these and would 100% recommend you give them a go! Especially if you love Mac's amplified formula.

NYX Lip lingerie in Bedtime flirt £7 -

This is another perfect my lips but better shade for me, it's perhaps a little more brown than the Clinique one. I have heard that these are quite drying however I actually find them really comfortable. This is just one of those shades that I have worn so much since I picked it up.

Mac Satin lipstick in Brave £16.50 -

Since when did Mac lipsticks go up to £16.50. Despite the price rise I do still love them, I have been a bit obsessed with Brave in the past couple of weeks. It's a beautiful mauve, pink nude shade. I love the satin finish and just think this is a really easy way to wear something that isn't quite so nude.

The Body shop Matte lip liquid in Nairobi Camellia £6.00 -

These matte lip liquids are some of the most comfortable lipsticks I've tried. These are how I imagined the soft matte lip creams from NYX however I find them so much less drying. This shade is a fairly dark shade however it isn't quite as dark as Patina but it is definitely a lot warmer.

Patina, blush pop, Bedtime flirt, Brave, Nairobi camellia, It's a keeper, Crème Brule.
Rimmel The only one lipstick in It's a keeper £6.99 -

This is a really beautiful slightly purple nude pink. Again it's incredibly comfortable as are all of these lip products. I haven't tried any other shades from this line but I think this is really beautiful and may have to get some more shades.

NYX Butter lipgloss in Cr̬me Bruleʣ5.50 -

You will probably know if you are a regular reader that I absolutely love these glosses. They are my favourite everyday drugstore gloss and are so similar to the Clarins instant light lip perfectors. This shade is a really pretty baby pink which isn't too blue toned which is an issue I have with a lot of light pink shades. What I love about this is that it looks beautiful on it's own but it also looks beautiful over pretty much every nude ever.

So that's it for today, I would love to know what your favourite pinky nudes are!

March Makeup

So it's time for another monthly makeup post. Again this month I haven't been wearing a load of eyeshadow as I just haven't had the time. However I have been wearing a lot of coloured liner as you can see from the picture above. So without further ado lets get on with it.

Clarins instant radiance foundation -
This foundation is glorious, it I literally the slightly more glamourous sister of the Urban Decay Naked foundation. It is a little more high coverage and definitely isn't as lightweight however it still sits beautifully on the skin. If you are a regular reader you will probably know what my main thing is with foundations and that is that they sit nicely on my dry skin and this one just looks so lovely.

Clarins Instant concealer -
If you are a regular over on my blog you will know how obsessed I am with this concealer. It is so comfortable on the face and offers a serious amount of coverage whilst not feeling heavy on the skin. The thing I love about this is that I can both wear this with or without foundation. I also love the shade of this as it is an incredible match for my skin.

Mac Blush powder in Harmony -
I haven't been reaching for bronzer this month and have instead been reaching for this to both add a little bit of contour and a little bit of bronze. This is fairly warm which is something I would normally wouldn't have touch however I am completely in love with it and wear it all the time.

Benefit Powder blush in Galifornia -
This blush is the perfect one for summer, it is a beautiful peachy pink with some very finely milled gold shimmer. This is the perfect natural blush with a slight sheen to give the face the most stunning healthy glow.

Urban Decay Afterglow highlighter in Fireball -
This is something I was a little cautious about as I wasn't sure whether it would be a little too dark on my however I really love it. It's a stunning peachy highlight shade which even on my pale skin doesn't look super dark.

Anastasia Dip brow pomade in Dark brown -
I'm back to absolutely obsessing over this product, it's just my all time favourite brow product. I love it for both a really carved out brow but also a really natural brow depending on how I use it. It's also incredibly long lasting and just a general gem to wear.

Joan Collins Class act mascara* -
This is something that I was recently sent and I am really enjoying it, it does a really nice job of lengthening the lashes and adds just enough volume for me as I much prefer a long lash look rather than a volumised look.

Petal, Blossom, Fire, Sapphire, Delight, Violet, Envy.
NYX Vivid brights liners -
Oh my these liners are literally my favourite thing at the moment they are such strongly pigmented shades, incredibly easy to use and wear really beautifully. I find these are a really lovely way to wear colour without wearing full on bright eyeshadow.

NYX Lip lingerie in Bedtime flirt -
I am so in love with this and cannot believe it took me so long to give it a go! These are a fairly moussey liquid lipstick. I have heard a lot about these being drying however I find them really comfortable and nice to wear. This shade is a really beautiful nude shade which is my perfect my lips but better shade.
