Beauty ¦ Soap and Glory Brow archery

I think along with the Anastasia brow wiz this has to be one of the most hyped brow pencils out there. I've been meaning to get my hands on it since people started talking about it but my local boots doesn't stock soap and glory and so I never got round to picking it up. However I now have it and in all honesty I'm not sure how I feel about it. I love the concept of having the choice of the pencil and the marker and I actually really like the formula. The pencil end isn't to waxy or slippy but it's not so firm that it gives the a very patchy messy look to the brow. I also really love the felt tip end for adding a little bit of thickness to the front of the brow and for on super natural days. However the colour is so off. I picked up Brownie points which is the darker of the two shades and it is in no way anywhere near dark enough.

The brown is actually so light that I could definitely imagine someone who has very dark blond or light brown hair definitely getting away for this. As it's so light the fact that is ashy toned as well makes my brows look like they have a strange grey tinge to them. Also because the colour is so light and my brows are so dark it leaves them looking really patchy and weird. I honestly am really upset that I am not a fan of the colour as I really love the formula. I think if you have lighter brows than me (Mine are practically black just for reference.) you would probably really enjoy this and I'm just hoping that in the future they bring out some more shades.

  2. Nice to see an honest review, I must admit that I don't get the hype of this product seeing as you can get cheaper ones which do the exact same and in the right shades to! Great post!
