Makeup revolution - Eyeshadow swatches and Review

I feel like I'm so far behind the bandwagon with this brand. These eyeshadows are the only things from the brand I've tried but I've been super impressed. The pigment is amazing, they are buttery and blend like a dream and they're only £1.00 each. Packaging wise it's not great but for me it definitely beats MUA it's a little bit sturdier and clasp is a bit more reliable. It's not the prettiest but it is very practical and does the job it needs to.

So let's get into a little more detail of the colours and variations in formula.

Touch me - Matte
This is the first of the two matte colours I picked up it's a fairly basics off white shade which I picked up as I think you can tell a lot about a brand by picking up there more basic colours. This one is a little chalky but nothing that isn't expected from a matte shadow. It makes a brilliant base and highlight colour.

I need you - Pearl
This shade is a gorgeous reddy chocolaty brown with lots of tiny weeny shimmer. This one is probably one of the creamiest of the bunch. This one makes a gorgeous crease colour and pairs beautifully with champagne shades.

Hung up - Matte
Out of the seven this one is most definitely my favourite, it is the other matte shade and I find it to be a little less chalky than Touch me. I don't even know how to describe this colour. It's a mix of purple, pink and taupe. It looks stunning all over the lid with a deep purple in the crease or in the crease of a shimmery pink.

Insomnia - Pearl
I'm not 100% sure why I picked this one up as I don't really wear purple on my eyes but I've actually fallen for it. I love it in the crease when I use hung up mixed with some black to create a beautiful purple smokey eye. This one needs a little more building up than some of the other shades but it really is worth it as it looks stunning.

Good life - Pearl
This comes a very close second favourite to hung up. it's such a strange shade. In the pan it looks very lilac, when it's swatched on my finger it looks very silver and then on my hand/arm and my eyes it looks very pink. This one is the most pigmented of the seven the swatch below is one swipe. If you're looking for something a little different then this is the one.

I want U - Pearl
I'm not sure how much use I will get out of this one as it isn't the easiest colour to work with, it's a very bright shimmery gold. I like this all over the lid as it really makes my blue eyes pop but it can sometimes also make my blue under eye circles pop (which may I add is definitely not a good look) Again the pigment is wonderful and it's super creamy.

Eden - Pearl
In all honesty I have no idea what I'm going to do with this one but it was only a pound and it's such a pretty colour. If you lovely readers have any ideas of what I can do with it, they would be greatly appreciated. This one is the same kind of pigment as insomnia and needs a little bit of building up.

  3. These are so well pigmented! The other day I picked up the Welcome to the Pleasuredome palette and oh my goodness, the pigmentation of all of the shadows is amazing, and for only £6 for the whole palette! High street beauty brands are just getting better and better and I can't wait to see where this brand goes next!!!!
