2013 Makeup favourites.

The last day of 2013, Wow! I'm going to be completely cliche here and say were has this year gone. First of I'd like to say a huge thank you to you guys, When looking for last years favourites I found a post saying happy new year. I put this post up 365 days ago today and I said I had over 1000 page views this year I have over 22,000 which is so crazy I just can't even comprehend it! So without a further ramble... (It's so weird that this is the last time I will type that this year)

My first favourite has to be the Maybelline colour tattoo's. If your a regular reader you will know I'm constantly rambling about how much I love these bad boys. No creasing, beautiful colours and blend like an angel what's not to like?!?!

Next up is the urban decay Naked basics palette. I love because It's so versatile, I find that I can create a simple day look but also a nice smoky eye. I find matte colours can be hard to come across especially well pigmented and blendable ones so I love this!

Next up is two blushers First is the Topshop cream blusher in flush. This is such an amazing colour and I find it so easy to work with despite it being so bright, I find it blends incredibly and once set stays all day well worth the £6 I paid for it! The second blush is the Dainty doll powder blush in 002 My girl. The whole blogging world seemed to go mad for these when the line was discontinued and they began to be sold on places like amazon and fragrance direct. This is a sheeny pink that glows without looking like I've been in a explosion at a glitter factory. It leaves a very natural looking flush on the cheeks and has a really nice staying power.

Next up are the Collection cream puff's in Cotton Candy and Fairy Cake. These are both such pretty natural colours, Fairy Cake is a gorgeous natural coral which looks so flattering on both pale and tanned skin whilst Cotton candy is a muted rosy colour which looks more at home on the lips of a pale faced lady like myself. Both are matte yet velvety and not drying, I find these last for around 6-7 hours on the lips.

Something that featured in last years favourites as well is the seventeen BB cream in light. This is such a lovely product and is really lovely on my oily skin. I find it keeps my skin from looking greasy whilst still letting a my natural skin glow through. This isn't the highest coverage base I own but with a little concealer on a good skin day it's just enough.

The final product in this years favourites is the Collection Fast stroke eyeliner. I went through a stage were I wore liquid eyeliner everyday and this one was perfect. A slim brush, jet black and long lasting it really is the perfect eyeliner.

So that's it my 2013 favourites I hope you enjoyed this post!

  1. I like the colour tattoos, I find they crease on me though but nothing a primer can't help :)
