Beauty top 5 - April

Hello lovelies,
Today i've got my april top 5 for you. I've decided this is the way I will do my favourites from now on. My favourites will be split into two parts, Beauty top 5 and non beauty top 5. Let me know if you prefer my favourites like this!

Real techniques buffing brush (core collection)
This is amazing my foundation flawlessly and it really has the airbrushed look. I also find that I have to use less concealer, when using this brush. I've washed this 5-10 times now and there's no sign of shedding; it also dry's super fast and is so soft!

Maybelline eye studio gel liner in black chrome.
So many bloggers and youtubers rave about this, I'm a bit of an eyeliner idiot and find it super hard to get both eyes even. My problem is gone now and maybelline is my hero. This is simple to apply although I do recommend using a different brush than the one provided. Now onto the colour me being the idiot I am bought black chrome, a black liner with silver glitter rather than just the black one and I'm so glad I did. I find this really helps open up my eyes when I'm looking a little tired.

Maybelline colour tattoo in on and on bronze.
This probably has to be one of the most hyped up products in the bloggesphere at the moment. I'm going to add my word in now and say I love them to. Super pigmented long lasting and easy to blend what more would you want from a cream shadow. I wont ramble on for to long as I reviewed this earlier this month Review

Seventeen mirror shine lipstick in L.A
Again I wont ramble on about this for to long as I reviewed it last week. I love everything about this product end of. If you want to read more heres the review.

DGJ organics berutti oil.
I thought because I get greasy hair an oil would be no good for me but boy was I wrong. This stuff is bloody amazing. My hair gets attacked with heat and dye pretty often, so it's not in the best condition. I've really found this has improved the health of my hair and it smells like sweeties what's not to love?

Brand interviews #1 - TallyTiger

Hello lovelies.
Today I'm going to be starting a new series in which I will interview small fashion and jewelry companies and asking them a little bit about there business. So to kick of the series I have the lovely Natalie from Tally tiger!

Tally Tiger is an online fashion jewellery and accessories shop, run by 19-year-old Natalie Reekie from Edinburgh, Scotland

A fun fact: the name Tally Tiger was created by putting Natalie's nickname (Tally) and her pet rabbit's name (Tiger-lily) together, creating Tally Tiger!

Why did you start Tally Tiger?
I launched Tally Tiger in the spring of 2012 with the aim of doing a job that involves something I'm enthusiastic about - fashion accessories. I don't think many people can say they love what they do, but I'm lucky to say I'm one of them.

Where do you get inspiration for your jewellery from?
When choosing the pieces to sell on Tally Tiger, I like to look for pieces that stand out. Although we also sell small, everyday jewellery, we like to pride ourself on the fact that our customers can choose a piece of jewellery or an accessory that will really add something special to their outfits!

What's your favourite piece of jewellery that you are currently selling?
That's a really tough question because I choose our pieces myself and I have to say, I really do love them all! If I absolutely had to chose, my favourite would have to be our Bullet Necklace. It's simple enough to be worn daily, yet edgy enough to make a statement!

Does your collection express your personal style?
Because I choose the pieces for our shop personally, I think it's a given that a little bit of my own style creeps into it. However, we do like to pick items that will cater for all styles, not just my personal preferences. In saying that, I do own a lot of our pieces myself and wear them daily!

Sum up your collection in 5 words?
Edgy. Statement. Different. Girly. Bold.

So I would like to say a huge thank you to Natalie for doing this interview for me and I hope you check out her shop in the future!

Hello lovelies.

Today I have a post that's a bit different for you. Last night while lay in bed I had an idea, this idea was to ask friends and family if I could take a look in their makeup bag and tell you guys what's in it. With blogs being centred around 1 or 2 makeup bags I thought it would be interesting for you guys to see a bit more variation. If you guys would like me to continue on with this series let me know. I would also love to see what's in your family and friend's makeup bag. So without further ado lets get on with #1 of what's in ...'s makeup bag.

Seventeen mirror shine lipsticks.

Hello lovelies.
Recently I came to the conclusion that I don't need anymore lipsticks, so of course me being me went out and bought more because I'm really intelligent. So I thought i'd review them for you. I think these are probably some of the most hyped lip products in the blogging world I see so many peoples holy grail posts with the shade beehive in. So I had to pick some up! Enjoy! xx

Beehive

Beehive has to be one of the most hyped products I've ever seen everyone and their dog seems to have this. I really love it to, its a sheer but buildable muted rosy pink. I can see this working on pretty much all skin tones.

L.A

I find this to be the sheerest of the three although its still quite buildable. This is a bright pinky coral and is practically summer in a tube.

Cheeky secret

and last but not least cheeky secret probably my favourite of the three. This is a gorgeous peachy orange colour and I really think i'm going to get a lot of wear out of it this spring.

SWATCHES!!!

I really love the packaging of these the mirror is so handy for on the go application and there so sleek and compact.

Overall I love these so much and I'm really considering getting more.

Seventeen mirror shine lipsticks are available from Boots for £4.79 each.

Mua Power Pout - Justify

Hello lovelies,
Today I'm going to be reviewing the new MUA Power Pout in justify. So lets get on....…

What MUA say....
MUA Power Pout is a lip treatment with colour intensity that relieves dry, cracked lips providing immediate moisturisation. The handy pencil-style applicator provides easy to apply sheer soft lip colour and rolls up for easy use.

Taken from the official MUA website.

Can I just say im a little confused in the description it says "colour intensity" and "sheer soft lip colour". How can it be both!!! I have to say thats the only thing I am confused by the rest of the description I couldn't ohavef written better myself. As you can see from the swatch below it looks quite sheer on the arm, but above you can see it on the lips and its much brighter.

The colour is a beautiful pinky coral and lasts for about 2 hours. I find that on me they wear evenly and are easy to re-apply with ease. I also find these to be so moisturizing and hydrating.

Overall I really like this and hope to pick more up in the future!

Have you guys tried these? What colours would you recommend?

A little haul.

Hello lovelies,
today i've got a tiny haul for you. These are just a couple of bits I picked up today hope you enjoy.

Mua power pout in justify - £3.00 Superdrug .... I told myself I wouldn't be trying any more products from mua as they always seem to leave me dissapointed, but I was sucked into the hype. I've been debating trying the Revlon balm stains for ages but I didn't know if i'd like them, so when Mua bought these out I decided to give then a go.  I have to say im really enjoying this it's a gorgeous pinky coral which I think will be great for summer.
Sinful colours nail polish in 24/7 - £1.99 Boots .... Wow this is a matte neon pink! I am in love nufff said!!!!

Marie claire magazine £3.80 - with free ciate nail polish in sand dune and jergens ultra healing moisturiser .... This was such a bargain i'm not quite sure how much longer this magazine on sale so grab it quick!!

and thats it a very justified shopping trip if you ask me.
have a fabulous weekend

Maybelline colour tattoo - On and on bronze

Hello lovelies,
Today I have a review for you and boy do I love this product. If I had to sum it up in one word I would use the word WOW! I found with this product it was love at first swatch. The shade I have is on and on bronze and its a beautiful golden copper with lots of shimmer.

First I will start of with the formula. This is so creamy and blends like a dream. I love this on its own or as a base for powder shadows. I also find it lasts on my lids all day even though my skin is so oily.

These pictures really don't do the colour justice at all. I love the way its so shimmery.

Overall I really love the colour tattoos and will be going out to purchase more.

Maybelline colour tattoos are available from Boots and Superdrug for £4.99
