July Favourites 2014

I pretty much say this at the end of every month but where is this year going. We're only 5 months away from Christmas! Enough talk about Christmas let's get on with today's post.

The Body Shop Camomile Cleansing Butter - £12.00 //Here//

This stuff is really amazing. This is definitely my favourite cleansing butter that I've tried, it removes makeup so effortlessly and leaves the skin feeling smooth and clean without feeling stripped. I also really like the scent, it's just so soothing.

Botanics Rosewater Toning Spritz - £4.99 //Here//

This stuff has been a complete saviour in the heatwave we have been having in the UK in the past couple of weeks. It is incredibly cooling on the face and is also great for soothing. (It works amazing on tired eyes)  It also smells incredible and is 100% organic.

Gosh CC Cream* - £8.99 //Here//

I'm not usually a light coverage base person but with it being so hot recently I haven't wanted to wear a foundation so I've been reaching for this. It is a little dark as it's shade 3 but I am currently tanning so it's ok as long as I make sure it's blended down my neck well. The only thing that I'm not 100% convinced on is how dewy it looks. I have to powder or there is risk of the oil slick face.

L'oreal Lumi Magique Touche de lumiere - £8.49 //Here//

This stuff is amazing a lot of people say about it being a concealer but it's actually a highlighting pen. I've been using this under my eyes as the little bit of coverage it offers is enough. The only bad thing about this is the fact it's made me really really want to try the YSL Touche eclat.

FashionistA powder blush in Rose thrill - £4.00

I can't seem to find these anywhere online, the superdrug website still have a few of the eyeshadows and eye pencils on the website but that is it. I know these were also sold on the MUA website for a while but it doesn't seem like that happens anymore. The blush is a really beautiful bright pink shade so if you can get your hands on it I would.

Miss Sporty instant lip colour and shine in Bubble Pop* - £2.99 //Here//

I really wasn't expecting to like this as much as I do but I'm super impressed. These are really lovely and glossy, nicely pigmented and super cheap as well. They also smell delicious.

So That's my favourites. What Have you been loving recently?

  1. I adore this GOSH CC Foundation. It's one of my ultimate faves! I agree tht it needs blotting to avoid the oil slick look but once it's set it's fabby!

  2. I'm started to buy a cleansing balm/butter as I'm unsure of how to use it! Are they simple to get on with?

    1. They are super easy to use! You pretty much just smear it all over your face and wipe it off with a nice warm flannel/muslim! xx
