#BigBlogmasproject2014 - The DIY post

When I was coming up with the topic ideas for this project I didn't think about the fact that I had absolutely no idea what to do for the DIY post so at the last minute (Nice on Cole) I decided that I would show you all how to make these cute little decorations.

You will need...

6 squares of paper
Glue
Tape
Scissors
String/ribbon/tiny tinsel to hang the decorations
Pens/glitter/paint to decorate

All you need to do is to get your square of paper and fold it in half then draw a line down the centre. Cut 5 lines on each side of the line making sure the cuts don't quite connect with the cuts on the opposite side the picture below shows you if you're a little confused.

Once you have your cut unfold the square you will have a square full of almost squares. Take the two corners and stick them together with some glue, them flip it over and do the same with the next square. Again the picture below shows you better than I can explain.

You should end up with one of these you can then make multiple and attach them all together with some tape. These are fab to make with little ones as they are so easy and they can be decorated in any way you want!
