This month I loved, 04

I am aware it hasn't been that long since I posted my March favourites however I did promise that I would put up a favourites post for every month this year and I don't want to break my promise. I've been loving a lot of skincare this month as I have been trying to get my skincare into a good routine. If you'd like to see my new skincare routine let me know as I can write a post.

So starting off I actually have a bit of haircare to mention, I don't use a lot of products in my hair at all however I picked up the new L'oreal Beach wave mist and I have been loving it. It just adds a little definition to the curls in my hair and adds a bit of texture. If you have wavy hair I would definitely recommend you give this a go.

Skincare wise I've been loving the Ren Glycolactic radiance renewal mask. It just leaves the skin looking so beautiful and healthy. It really helps add some radiance to my super dull dry skin and doesn't flare up my eczema like some masks do. It is quite heavily scented although the scent is nice and isn't one I mind having all over my face for fifteen minutes. The other skincare bit I have been loving is the Pixi Vitamin wakeup mist. I have been using this after finishing my makeup just to refresh the skin and it does a gorgeous job of adding some glow to the skin and taking down any powderiness.

I love a good lip balm and I have been obsessed with the Clinique pep start Pout restoring night mask. It is such a heavy duty lip balm and reminds me of a glossy version of the Nuxe Reve de meil which if you are a long term reader you will know I absolutely love. It is incredibly hydrating meaning it does feel a little heavy on the lips. It's not one I tend to apply my lipstick straight over, I prefer to let it sink in and then apply my lip product afterwards. In terms of it sinking in it takes around about 30 mins so I tend to apply it as soon as I get out of bed.

It's not often that I fall in love with brushes however after picking up a set of Spectrum brushes from Boots I am in love with all of them but especially the BO6 and the CO6. BO6 is a beautiful fluffy blending brush which is perfect for any crease work and is incredibly soft and easy to use. CO6 is a very strange shape almost tapering into a more triangular shape. This makes is amazing for setting the lid and doing the brow bone highlight.

It was about time I got around to trying out the Stila Magnificent metals glitter and glow eyeshadows and I cannot believe it took me this long to try them. If you know me you will know I love a bit of glitter and this is just such a easy and convenient way to apply it. I also find these make a cut crease much easier to do. The shade I've been obsessed with is Rose gold retro which is as the name may suggest a stunning rose gold shade.

Also for the eyes I wanted to mention the Soft Glam palette from Anastasia. I know you are probably all sick of everyone talking about this palette but I am just so in love with it. It's the perfect neutral palette and I so wish it was around when I did mine and my friends prom makeup. I feel like it's also a stunning bridal palette. This is definitely more along the lines of Modern renaissance in terms of formula although the shadows do still have a fair amount of fallout. The metallics are so stunning and foiled and the mattes just blend like an absolute dream.

Finally I wanted to mention the Benefit Gold rush blush. This is just a gorgeous summer shade. It is more peachy than Galifornia but is just as perfect for this time of year. It is super glossy and has a more gold toned sheen to it. I just find it leaves the skin looking beautifully glowy and healthy and is just a blush I've been reaching for everyday. It also smells delicious which is always a bonus!

Gold rush, Rose gold retro, four shades from soft glam

So that's it for today I would love to know what you have been enjoying this month.
