After writing the last The face post I decided I was going to make it a more regular occurrence because I just love writing them. Today's face was one I wore a couple of weeks ago when I went with my nana to watch the pantomime, I wanted to wear something a little different without wearing too much makeup so I dug out my liquid eyeliner. I haven't worn winged eyeliner in weeks so it was nice to have a little change.
I started off with Bourjois Healthy mix serum which is one of my favourite dewy base products and then I concealed with my Catrice All round concealer palette. Using the lightest shade on my under eyes and the medium shade to cover blemishes and redness. I then warmed my face up with Nars Laguna bronzer and popped a little bit of Nars Deep throat on the apples of my cheeks to add a little colour and a little glow.
For my eyes I primed my lids with Mac Bare study paint pot as usual, then using Venus from the Urban decay Naked basics I highlighted the inner two thirds of my lid and my brow bone. I then packed Naked 2 onto the outer third of my lid and blended the two colours together using a fluffy brush and W.O.S. I then did a little cat eye with the Collection Fast stroke liner which is the most incredible liquid liner. Then to finish off my eyes I lined my tight line with the Gosh Velvet touch liner in Black ink and applied a few coats of Seventeen's Doll'd up mascara.
I then did my usual brow routine, I ran a little of the benfit instant brow pencil through my brows, set the pencil with a little bit of Urban decay Faint and the sealed all that in place with the L'oreal brow artist plumper. Finally to finish of the look I applied the Essence XXXL longlasting matt lipgloss in Velvet rose.

So pretty! Your hair is gorgeous. I'm a big fan of the naked basic palettes too :) xx

The liquid eyeliner looks lovely - it really brings out the colour of your eyes. I hope you had a good time at the Pantomime.
ReplyDeleteI am so terrible at winged eyeliner I don't really even try it anymore haha. Your eyes look wonderful! You seem to be using a ton of great products too. Lovely post!
